  • Meet and Greet in Columbus!

    I won meet and greet passes for the Columbus concert (4/4/08), so i thought it was probably about time that I wrote about it! School keeps me so busy, and I don't get a chance to update often!

    To start off with, I live on the Ohio State campus, so I only had to walk a little ways to get there! The only bad thing is I had a research project right before the concert so I had to rush to make sure I would make it on time. By the time I got done it had started raining so I got rained on the whole time I was walking there. I'm sure I looked great to meet Carrie! lol

    Well, you probably know how everything goes already so I'll just cut to meeting Carrie. She is so little and skinny and way too cute! I walked up to her, said hi, and shook her hand. I didn't think I would get nervous, but of course I did! I couldn't think of anything that great to say, so I said "I'm so glad you came to campus!" She smiled and replied- "I like coming to campuses, the energy is just always so much better." I'm so thankful to have had the chance to meet her!

    The concert was amazing! Carrie is the best artist I have ever heard live... her voice is astounding! I didn't even sing along to some parts of the songs, just because I wanted to hear her really well! lol I went with my roommates and they also said she is the best live singer they have seen!

    Ok...... my favorite part of the night?! The Ohio State jersey and the O-H I-O cheer! I loved it! :)

  • Seeing Carrie in Columbus!

    I'm so glad that Columbus was included as a stop in the new tour announcements! I just got my tickets through ticketmaster! I think this will be the closest concert ever for me considering that I only have to walk across campus this time! haha The only sad thing is that I got second row tickets my first time trying for the presale, but my roommates (who decideded they wanted to go with me) didn't want to spend $52 for a ticket. The really close side sections were $52 too, so we are sitting in about the middle of the stadium on the lower level. Oh well, it will still be a whole lot of fun!

    I haven't had a lot of time lately to be on here! I just saw Carrie's new music video today.. I'm getting far behind! lol I'm just glad I found out she is coming to Columbus! :)

  • Home for Christmas!

    I made it through my first quarter of college and final exams! Now I'm on winter break for the rest of December! Its nice to get a rest from everyone I left behind, but I know I will miss the new friends I made at OSU while I'm gone too! Ohio State turned out to be everything I hoped and more. I love it there and I can't imagine being anywhere else!

    I got to come home for the first time since September to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family! Its nice to be home for a little bit and catch up with everyone. I really love Ohio State and all my new friends there, but I will always miss the ones back home too!

    Yeah I havent met Carrie yet so hopefully this gives me the chance to see her for the first time in 3 years that ive been waiting. hopefully i get too this time before it will be awhile maybe next year to get another concert tickets. keeping my fingers cross.

    Thats cool! Did you win the m&g yet? Hope so! I am going to Youngstown the next day! :) I hope I win the m&g too!

    Awesome that you heard of my school! lol- I am study Health Promotion & Fitness. This school is so wonderful so I still have this week of classes which that is the last week & my last day for summer is next monday! Im excited!

    Hey there Im Natalie and I went to the columbus concert too! Did you take pictures? I did BUT i am really jealous that you got to meet her!!lol- :) But I also got tickets for Youngstown next month so hopefully i get the chance. I LOVE OHIO STATE! My boyfriend goes there & he is a sophmore well junior status! haha Do you know Otterbein College? Well thats where I go.

    Hey so Carrie is coming to Toledo on June 10th! Are you going? I can't believe I finally found a Carrie fan who has their hometown close to me! I truly admire and look up to Carrie too!

    thanks...i made it w/the paint program. my friend sent me photoshop7 and now i just have to figure out how the heck to use it. thats gonna take forever. lol. hope u are doing good and had a good turkey day. :)
